I believe so.. They are exempt from the ban.

The reason LEO's are allowed to have hi-caps is so they have superior firepower to criminals. Regular people are restricted to 10 rounds because they are really criminals who have not been caught yet.

Is this not the attitude of the legislators?

In CA, the "standard" is 10 rounds, per our superiors.

right. because criminals would not want to break the law so they stick with limited-cap 10 rd magazines when they rob liquor stores.

They do. In fact, they underload them with six to seven rounds.

The correct term is "large capacity magazines"

"Large capacity magazines" are defined - any magazine that holds over 10 rounds.

What is this "standard capacity magazine" that you talk about? Somehow you equate those with large capacity magazines, so does that mean that my standard 1911 (7) magazine is a large capacity magazine? How about for my Sig P220 (8)? What about a Sig P250 .45 (8/10)?
