CFLC help question

I am getting a pistol from MO and the selling FFL is telling me the CFLC is asking for

CL Number and Shipment number

I got the CL number from my receiving FFL, but what is the Shipment number?

Tracking number from FedEx/UPS/USPS ?

Or just a generic number assigned by your selling FFL?

The shipment number is any number that the shipper wants to assign the shipment so that they can reference it later if needed. For example, we use our ordering system generated invoice number.

It can be whatever they want to put in, but I would suggest to them if they create something that makes sense if the DOJ was ever to contact them and reference that number.
