Ammo for Five seveN

Hey guys.
I know there is bo much type of ammo available for this gun, still couple options is make me wonder if it is legal in CA for handgun. SS195, SS197,SS198. I want to have couple boxes HD type ammo, not plinking (I already got plinking ammo)

All the ammo you listed is legal to use in Cali, I use the T6B ammo from Elite for my CCW FN 57 20 round mag. I also use the FN SS198 ammo for practice. The Elite ammo costs around $100 for 25 rounds. https://eliteammunition.com/T6B-p275587071

If you can still source SS195 as plinking ammo, get it. The factory sights are optimized for SS195. You may find you'll be hitting lower with SS197 from your POA, even with the rear adjustable sight maxed out for elevation.

The Speer Gold Dot is my second choice for personal defense ammo.

For plinking/get used to I bought AE. How is that?

AE is the same weight as SS197 so I imagine the the POA/POI would be the same. AE can be hit or miss because they projectiles are not secured to the neck of the case like FN ammo (FN doesn't crimp their bullets, they use an adhesive on the projectiles).
