Intrafamilial ar pistol question

Hello all, I didn't quiet know what to search for so I'm asking my apologies if it has been addressed. My mother in law is gifting my wife two aero pistols. They have the uppers and bcgs installed. Also installed the mag locks onto them. They come from aero as other not labeled pistol. They are not labeled pistol till they are assembled. Sorry if im not saying this correctly but would they be ok to be shipped to my ffl then they get dros as a pistol or would they need to acknowledged as a pistol first before shipping. I hope I didn't make that confusing

It is OK but it will be completely up to the transfer FFL you use. I also suggest that 10rd mags be installed and locked into the guns before they are shipped in to CA.

Your FFL will give you instructions on how they should be configured and shipped and the paperwork that needs to be included, follow them
