    Glock plus hogue grip...

I decided to stay with my glock 17 instead of going with a glock 22 or 21. I have pre ban mags and I feel completely comfortable with my 9mm I can keep rounds on target and transition quick. I just went and got a hogue grip to try it out today and I REALLY LIKE IT! I can't wait to go out and shoot it with the grip, I loved the way my glock felt in hand before now it's even better. Man I just love glock pistols! Any of you guys running the hogue grip? likes dislikes?

I like it a lot, but I have big hands. Try one. It's cheap enough.

I picked one up today and really like it! I was asking if anyone else likes em on their glocks I have not seen to many people using them at the range or in pics. I dont have big hands and I still really like mine, just feels so comfortable and right...

I will probably get a glock 22 in the future honestly but for now I can really afford to feed one 2 pistol rounds and thats 357 magnum and 9mm... I have shot a glock 22 plenty of times I liked it not as snappy as I have heard or as snappy as the 23, I still can get faster follow ups with my 9mm and the Pre bans I have are a big plus!

I jsut put one on my 17, I have medium hands, and even though it is a little larger, it feels good in my hands, and you can adjust it to be higher or lower....it works for about 10 bucks. I thought it was a felony to possess assembled, 17 round mags here in CA, pre-ban or not. Am I mistaken?

Pre ban grandfathered ownership - meaning you own them before the ban. You can keep and use them for yourself.

You have to own them before the ban to make them legal to use. IF you obtain them after the ban, they must be disassembled at all times unless converted permanently to 10 rounds.

I have a Hogue on my G19 and love how it's contoured to fill my palm. I have a Pachmayer on my G21 and while it adds a great texturing, I wish it had the same palm swell as the Hogue.

                      legality

So if you bought a 17 say, this year, and you already had in your possesion a 17 round mag that you have no receipt for, where do you stand on that?

There was no law before the ban that said you could only have standard capacity mags if you had the gun that would accept it. Prior to the ban, there was no reason to believe one would need to prove when the magazines were purchased so there isn't a legal requirement to show proof of when the magazine was obtained. It's up to the prosecutor to prove your guilt, not you to prove your innocence (at least, not yet).

I would not own a Glock and not have one on it. It really does feel that much better in your hand.

There has been many discussions on this. They are pre ban magazines there for legal for me to use in my glock 17 I also have a ton of preban AR mags as well...
