    First time experience, incomplete paperwork.

Does this sounds suspicious to anyone?

Ammobros called me today requesting I go to their location to provide a thumbprint and signature for a handgun I purchased and is now in my possession for two months.

I provided that on the day of purchase, this just seems odd to me.

    Any insight? Human error?

    What was their reason?

Ask them the reason. Maybe it is legitimate and they forgot to include the information prior. Help them stay in compliance it that is the reason. We need more businesses like them for our hobby.

Hope they toss you a couple boxes of ammo for the trouble at least. Or a free dros card or something

Gun shops do tons of paperwork.DOJ and the ATF are constantly putting there hot breath down the necks of the owners looking to get extra moneys from them in fines. Believe it or not the DOJ and the ATF are not always with your side.Crossing T’s and dotting i’s is very important so that they don’t close up another place .I’d go back if they asked you to .If you know the boys there your doing them a solid, if you don’t and you need to drive a distance they shouldn’t have a issue setting you up with a discount on merch or at the min. free swag.

Happened to me at Turners when I bought a lower. I went in and signed the missed signature and they gave me a $50 gift card.

This is honestly the first time I have heard of an FFL doing this, BUT I think the best thing would be to provide that to them as humans are prone to making errors.

This happened to me once previously. The shop was only a few miles down the road but the ffl got super salty with me. I almost didn’t go just because he was such a jack hole, but I ultimately relented. Accidents happen.
Buying a safe and sane firework is like paying a hooker for a hug. I do not see the appeal in it.

They missed it during the 10 days....its happened to me twice in the last 10 years.

The best thing to do is to go there and get things right. Ask them for a few boxes of ammo at cost. Your doing them a favor so don't let them push you around.

You could tell them to f off but it could cost them thousands
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

If it was close to me I’d go easily now if I had a little drive hate to say it but it would be as soon as convenient within the next 7-10 days.

If you remember doing it, then they almost certainly just misfiled it. It is in a different file or folder than it is supposed to be in. Unfortunately, when something gets misfiled, it is often very difficult or impossible to find.
