Pistol on CA Roster to substitute to CZ-TS ?

A friend of mine, checked out my CZ-TS at the range he liked the pistol so much and asked: is there any 9mm pistol on the CA roster can be similar accurate as the CZ-TS.
I replied Glock-34 but I knew there are more out there and need recommendation from Calguners. His request is on Roster he will get a NIB and this is a range toy.

SP-01 sent to CGW maybe. G34 with Brownells MOS slide, H&K USP Expert.

Best bet is prob a CZ sent away for professional work. $463 for the PRO package.

The sp01 is the closest gun on roster to the TS. Its basically a less-tuned, slightly shorter TS. Its still very good, and only gets better with a little work.

I have a tuned SP-01 with Pro package and my Tac sport is still better.

Still probably the closest option and the cheapest to going off roster.

                  No

A G34 w/ timney alpha trigger would still feel like a cheap imitation,
the weight of the TS combined with the 1.5lb trigger is just nuts.

                  Maybe a 2011 9mm with an ultra-maga polished trigger?

If he wants a CZ TS then he should get a TS. I don't know of anything that compares to a TS in it's price range. I know you can't get a new one from a gun store but if he keeps an eye open he probably can get a used not abused one at a fair price. Sometimes if you want something you just have to wait for it and it just might fall into your lap.

I loved my TS but the grip frame was just way too big around, it wasnt comfortable and I have big hands.
I went with the 75 SA and had a TS slide milled to fit the SA frame along with all of the other upgrades.

The closest on roster is SVI. Anything else is not close enough, unfortunately.

Offrdmania every time I see your CZ I want it. I do have a TS upper on a 75 SA frame but don't have the barrel bushing. Is it worth the extra to get one done? Here's mine.
