    Glock 34 sights

Hey all. Just DROSd a Glock 34 blue label. I can't recall if it comes with the adjustable sights. I'm not a big fan of plastic sights so was looking for some aftermarket replacements.

What do you guys run on your G34?

    Thanks in advance!

    Ameriglo Defoor

In this review, we take a look at the Ameriglo Kyle Defoor tactical sights for Glock to see how good of a match they are.

I have two 35’s replaced the plastic Glock sights with a Fiber optic Dawson Precision on my Gen 3 and Wilson Combat battle sights front Fiber optic on my gen4.
Not a fan of adjustable rear sights, drifting the rear works fine for me.

Im a warmonger baby, I got blood in my eyes and I'm looking at you.

I run some simple HiViz sights:

HIVIZ Sight Systems GLT178, Glock Target Sight Set https://a.co/d/4VYJx74

        You can interchange the colors.

I have had Vogel, Sevigny, Dawson, AmeriGlo, Trijicon and TruGlo...

If I were to do it all over again - I would stick with TTI

+1 on TTI sights (I have them on my g34 also)

Another idea is to take a black sharpie and black out the white colored U from the stock rear sight and use a red sharpie to color in the white dot on the front sight

I'm also using some version of Ameriglo which look like the referenced set, above.
I'm really not too particular and I seem to hit well with most any fixed sights I've tried so far, even stock polymer Glock sights.

I've this other Ameriglo set on another Glock which I also like a lot:
Explore handgun parts (1,456) at Brownells, including slides, barrels, and triggers to repair, upgrade, or customize your handgun for improved performance.
(former) Glock and 1911 Armorer; LEO (now retired)

Common theme: Fiber Optic Front, plain black rears! I do favor Dawson, but there are many others. Those Taran Tacticals look good tho.

Your next move is getting a red dot slide so you can shoot irons and red dot both!

I just ordered these to run on Brownells G34 clone slide that has a RMR cut. Need suppressor sight to co witness with red dot (which is going back for repair).

I used some oem G17 sights on this slide, but somehow never liked it and didn’t shoot well for - while a stock G17 shoots fine with the same sights, so who knows. Will see.

non-adjustable nite sights, green in front and yellow in back.

I made a thread a while back asking why not have diff colors since everyone sells 99% single color sights and consensus seemed to be "yeah, diff colors front/back is better".

green is brightest so it should go in front which is what I'd done by accident.

It will come with adjustable rear and (not highly rated) plastic front.

Non-adjustable is tougher and less likely to be rendered useless, so its recommended unless its a range gun or hunting gun.

I've got G35 and only thing besides sights I'm thinking of changing is swap out the Extended speed racer Mag Release because it will pop the mag if you sit in car with soft holster and will drop the mag unexpectedly if you haven't trained to stay away from it while shooting.

A simple cheap rubber "butt-plug" allows you to carry one round in the backstrap. Also makes grip match mag plate for bigger better overall grip. They also make plugs that are weighted and have drift pin tool. Seems they should make one that has light batteries but maybe all the diff Gen of Glocks and adjustable grip sizes nixed that concept.https://rockyourglock.com/glock-acce.../sunset-insert

FO front and plain black rears. I like WC U notch rear sights.

Night sights are only good for seeing which way your muzzle is oriented when sitting on a bed side table in a pitch black room. Take some low light classes and see for yourself how well night sight work if you dont believe me.

Save you money and train, train, train.

                        Thanks for the replies everyone.

I'm going to take a look at those TTI sights.

My G26 has Ameriglo Spartans and my G19 has Ameriglo agents. I really like the u notch on the agent sights. I think those options are more oriented for a defensive pistol and the G34 isn't my first line of defense.

Don't really have much experience with fiber optics but am willing to give them a shot.

Don't buy into the hype and marketing...

If the U-notch was designed for "defensive" pistols; what about the 3-dots, the straight 8s, the Haley "th1rte3n" sights (designed around the "body alarm response"), Ghost rings, etc...? Use whatever works for YOU for acceptable accuracy under speed, defensive or otherwise.

I use a cheap Hiviz FO front sight with factory rear sight on my factory 34 slide.

And I use some cheap Aim Surplus FO suppressor height sights on my OR aftermarket 34 slide.

                            Both sights are excellent.
