    CA Roster helpl

Is this gun not on the roster.

It is P220 Stainless Steel. But is this a P220R? I see the non rail version on the list but not the railed version.

The 220 Stainless has a rail. The "R" designation came afterwards in order to seperate the raled/non-railed aluminum framed versions.

Please note that the rail on the 220 ST you have a link to in your post is the old rail configuration - it is not the same as the rail found on many current pistols, or on the current 220 ST pistols. Sig changed from that rail to the current configuration a few years back (a bit before they changed all their models to being rail-equipped)

        An FFL question

Well, my FFL said the P220ST was CA approved when he received it in shipment for me from another location, about 3 weeks ago. I suggest you speak with the FFL you intend to use before taking action. If he says it is approved, you are covered for the purchase.

that gunbroker listing looks like the second gen 220ST.

so it has the proper mil-spec 1913 rails.

1st gen 220STs used the 220 SPORT frame which had the wacky rail cause it was to be used with the add-on compensator.

That vendor will ship to CA, also another vendor that is selling P220 BSS LEO issued/used for 4-5 years (approx 600rds) will ship to CA for $535. Figure that is a good deal.
