    New Colt Pythons?

Looking for input on the new Pythons from Actual owners or those who have shot them.
I have handled several of the stainless steel ones and they are gorgeous with perfect fit and finish.
    Thinking of buying one.
It will be a shooter for cast silhouette, not a safe queen.

Pythons are nice, but I prefer to spend that kind of money on a "prelock" S&W L or K frame.

        I drosed a 4.25" model yesterday. I can't wait to shoot it.
It takes a lot of balls to play golf the way I do.

Fit and finish on them is real nice, Colt calls it a Python, and they made it look like a Python but the internals are different which makes the trigger pull different as well. I only took mine out once and hardly shot it because I was focused on trying to get something else running right so I can't give a shooting report. It costs a couple hundred more than an equivalent S&W performance center piece and I think that it is more than justified.

                    No, they are not.

Way better? Now I suppose a retail store in CA that can no longer get their hands on the "last generation" as inventory for maximum profit margin might say such a ridiculous thing, to boost sales of what they can get, but not someone that actually owns and shoots both, in different barrel lengths and examples spanning from each decade.

They're nice. They're good. "Way better" they're not.

Agree. Even the Hilary hole Performance Center guns are far superior without much more in cost.

Exactly my same thought as Ammo Brothers is a stocking dealer of the new Python.

It’s worth it. Life’s too short to shoot crappy guns.

                              The new Pythons are awesome.
