    AR Pistol question/help

I so jazzed that I now have an AR Pistol but have a question on a brace that Id like some input on. This pistol is making use of ARMaglock and Kingpin. I originally wanted to get a Maxim Brace, (either the CQB or PDW version). However, just before ordering I realized that if I go with this brace, when trying to fully collapse, either the pin will block it or if it allows to collapse all the way, I wont have access to the pin.

Im pretty sure I wont be able to fully collapse because from the photos Ive seen, the arm of the brace runs right over the rear pin.

Am I correct? Does anyone have experience with this combination (or with a SBPDW) and a kingpin? Even if I could collapse Im certain I wouldn't have access to the pin to allow me to depress it. If so, please tell me it would be a very stupid idea to have a brace that when fully collapsed, would prevent you from changing mags.

While I really wanted this type of brace, I feel that the rearpin solution to CA fixed mag is more critical.

While the pistol brace point system law is supposed to take affect this month it still has not. I ran into that same exact problem with that brace and opted for the SBA3. Also, if your AR pistol is semi-auto then you have no choice regarding your magazine. It is not only critical it is the law. It has to be fixed by utilizing an AR Maglock or other variation of a similar design like a Juggernaut. AR pistols do not fall into the same category regarding featureless or featured like standard AR's do.

There are other compliant maglocks that work nothing at all like AR Maglock/Juggernaut.

??? Very proactive of you and extremely confident that Gavin and Bonta are gonna back down lol. Proactively disabling your mag lock is great. Now you have an AR pistol with regular mag release you decided to do on your own.

"Hello, this is the AFT and the same FBI agents who just raided the former president's Florida compound. We have your IP address and we are gonna be breaking down your front door tonite". LOL.

JK. I realize using the regular pin is literally breaking your gun apart to change the magazine. Exactly what our thoughtful, gun ignorant legislators intended. My beef is that our CA legislators plans are to ignore the supreme court and throw up new unconstitutional laws every step of the way to stall. With the glacial pace of lawsuits, they are just running the clock out, and we will all be dead before we can enjoy our freedoms... I'm not a lawyer, but I wish the Supreme Court could say, "we are the law of the land, and we supersede any of the legal barriers you are planning to throw up."
