    I feel a difference and stick with 9mm.

    My preferred caliber starting with "4" is .45 ACP. Mainly because of the recoil characteristic, it's a "push" instead of a "snap."

      I have no issue with the recoil of the .40 - it's a great round and I much prefer the power over 9mm; however, I've decided to stick with 9mm because of lower priced ammo and wider ammo selection.
