Shadow System DR920P Trigger upgrade options

    Hi Folks,

Had a chance to pick up Shadow System DR920P. It is compensated but not threaded barrel, so this should make CA DOJ happy at least.

Anyhow, tried the trigger and it's better than Glock factory trigger but nothing to write home about. I understand that SS is essentially upgraded version of Glock gen 3 pistol.

Question is : Would a aftermarket trigger be compatible with this pistol? (I think it should be but...)
If so, what would you recommend as a upgrade for trigger?

    Thanks for your help.

The geometry of the Tyr makes it very crisp with a nice pull. Has a wall too.

This is mine on a gun that has 70k+ rounds. My trigger has around 50k on it

I have a pair for sale. One is new black trigger and blue shoe or the other is all black (around 200 rounds used)

Also I love the Shadow system frames . It is basically an upgraded gen 4 glock.

        The cr920 is brilliant

An issue with SS is thier qc is everywhere. I love their frames but each trigger is different between the 5 mr920s I have. So they all got replaced.

My cr920s one was great. Two had horrid triggers and had to go back for reliability issues.

They will fix any problems though and once fixed the guns run. The triggers are still completely inconsistent.

I never heard of Tyr trigger. What's the reputation like?

I am biased because I love them and I am selling 2 of my spares in in classifieds (have like 8 or 9 of them on guns but have a few that were for builds that may not happen)

They make the pull feel lighter due to leverage, cleanup stacking and still provide a crisp wall.

Off hand 25 yard groups with one

              Here is a review

If the Shadow Systems is the same a gen 4 Glock, what about using a Timney Alpha Glock Trigger?

That is an amazing trigger for a range gun but not drop safe. Had 3 timney alphas. Was able to get trigger to release on all 3 (oem glock and shadow frame) by striking the rear

Great video on some of the timney details. Spot on with the operating window failure and the timney trigger not being a carry trigger.
