I know this is a highly discussed topic but I am unable to find a similar topic based on my situation.
I purchased an Aero AR lower which is marked as a "PISTOL". When the previous owner moved into CA they were able to register it as the following:
Type: PISTOL
Category: Semi-Automatic
Frame Only: No
Make: Aero
Model Pistol
Barrel Length: 11"
When I purchased it the upper was not a part of the deal the FFL transferred it as the following:
Make: Aero
Model: Pistol
Calibers: 0000
Type: Handgun
Category: Semi-Automatic
Frame/Receiver Only: YES
New/Used: USED
FSD Compliance: FSD Purchased
The lower was fully built with a mag lock setup. The question I have is it an issue for me to build an AR Pistol since it was DROS'd as a Frame only?
I appreciate everyone's feedback!
