    Rossi 971 357 mag

What do you guys think? It is the only 4 inch blue steel revolver 357 that I see around anymore and on the approved list. You get a S&W 19 and you are going to spend some money on it. Is it durable, reliable?

I had one years ago. It had a decent trigger and shot fine. I would recommend it. Mark

My cousin has an older model rossi 38. I shot it and loved it. I think it feels good and great for the price. I think the new Rossi are made by Taurus now.

Wifeness has one. Not a bad gun. Double action pull is stiff though. Did have an issue after about fifty rounds. CS said it was the hammer and provided the rework. Took about 60 days to turn around. Other than that, GTG.
The thing with firearms is that they are not like any other consumer product, simple ownership of one carries a lot of responsibility.

I had a very early one, early 1990s. When the hammer-mounted firing pin broke a second time in less than 200 rounds, I sold it cheap.
