FWIW, every warranty work service request that I've sent in was handled perfectly. Turnaround times, communication, shipping, etc.

Waiting 4-6 weeks is fairly standard in the gun world for having work done. GL with getting your weapon back.

ive had good luck with parts and service

i had to ship my mini 30 in for a new firing pin and it was back in a week

NO company is perfect. It is not my intention to pick sides, but Ruger has always done right by me, and others I know. I Googled several different ways to find any "complaints" against Ruger and did not find any from customers only the run of the mill frivolous product liability suits. Is it possible that you did not follow their protocall for retuning a firearm? If I remember correctly, I had to call first and get authorization to return a firearm. I am in the second month of trying to get a package back from UPS that was refused by customs in Mexico. Do I feel they are incompetent? No, just that some of their employees are from the shallow end of the gene-pool. Anyway, good luck with your problem, it is extremely frustrating to wait on a firearm.

Consistent FTC and FTE on various ammo. This includes the first round and subsequent rounds not going fully into battery by at least 1/8 of the round lenght or more and requiring a tap to seat the ammo. The shells getting stuck in the port for many of the ejects. Some ammo not ejecting at all. In fact the only ammo that has been nearly problem free is the Winchester Ranger Talon 124 gr

I was about to buy a Ruger SR9 but The barrel peening issues is what turned me away.
