Will this affect performance? PT145

I found this ding on the frame the other day when I was cleaning it. I've got a new guide rod coming in, so that's not an issue...but will this little blem affect shooting at all?

Taurus has a lifetime warantee, but I have to send them the whole firearm for them to cover it...so I don't want to send it unless it's a really bad problem.

What do you guys think?

Lifetime wear usually doesn't cover wear and tear. A ding, I would think, would be a sign of wear since it was NOT caused by a part malfunction.

Just shoot the gun and enjoy it.

That ding wont affect your ability to shoot the gun, but it isn't it's best looking attribute!
