    Model 69 Lock Delete

When the the Model 69 was announced, it was one of the few new recent models I wanted. Happily it made the roster and I bought one. Very pleased with it. Except for the lock which I never used or even considered using. Saw Original Precision mentioned in another thread. (Calguns leads you to spend more in so many ways.)

Have nothing but good things to say. Product fit perfectly as exactly as described. Received 3 days after order. Easy to follow video instructions. I think the gun looks better.

Did exactly that to my 340PD and M&P 340. Much better without the lock and that ugly hole plugged up.

Nice revolver! I did the same with my M69.

        Enjoy!

I used their lock delete on the S&W 610 I purchased in January. It was very easy for me to install even though this was the first revolver I ever took apart. The only other 2 revolvers I own are rimfires.

I am very happy, especially since I always lose keys.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

OP, FWIW, after writing the post about original Precision, I took my own advice, contacted the company, ordered the plug and replaced the lock on my 500 S&W PC.

              Same on a Model 638 -

Took a little finagling to push out the lock plug & depress the spring. Also, I found that seating the new plug and then turning it was easier than trying to line up the cuts with the retaining clip. A few turns and the thing snaps into place, easy to see.

All my jframes with the lock get a lock delete plus titanium plug installed. Also, Apex Tactical spring kits. You'd think I'd be smart enough to just buy pre-lock Smiths. At least the 43C I just bought doesn't have the lock.
