My first thoughts were, is your trigger bar spring putting upward tension on the trigger bar and did you over adjust the setscrew on the sear. The thing is you say the trigger works fine with the old trigger. I would still look at the trigger bar spring first to see if it has enough upward tension then maybe check out your sear cage to make sure all is good. Pic with slide off and looking into frame might help. Oh and nice looking SP bold choice with the purple but I like it. I just read CGWs Standard Package info and it says when switching to SAO you also need to get the Short reset system. You might want to call CGW they can be very helpful.

Are you sure you have the trigger bar in the correct position? It likes to get hung up high and not fully seat in the frame.

Dead trigger? Is your trigger spring in correctly? That little spring is a B

You guys were both correct in suggesting I double-tripe check the trigger bar spring. I tweaked the tension of the trigger bar lifter spring a bit. It was the arm under the sear that needed to be adjusted ever so slightly, and looking from underneath, it wasn’t quite riding in its respective channel. I really doubted it would the the trigger bar spring, as I adjusted it a million times. But I guess this last time, I must have gotten it right. I am now getting a consistent hammer drop, and reset has been restored. I went ahead and removed the FPB anyway while I was at it…but in my case, it wasn’t the cause of my issue. I actually still have the short arm lifter in for the time being, but should be able to get the appropriate spacer for it put in tonight. The trigger set screws have been fine tuned and I’m happy with the way the SAO trigger is breaking and resetting now. Will update if any changes arise, and/or after a range trip. I appreciate all the help

For sure would have been my next step had the above not worked. Still not completely holding my breath over it until I can really put some rounds down range and test the reliability
