Glock G17 got delayed today

I Got the call from FFL earlier
Today is day 7 of 10
I had a g17 and stag stripped receiver to pickup tues
But who knows when this will get cleared up
I bought 1 new handgun, 1 new shotgun, 1 new stripped receiver, and 1 consignment used handgun all this year with no issues.
It has already been way over 30 days since last new handgun dros as well.

To be honest quite annoyed at the moment.
But the shop said 9 times out of 10 this usually gets resolved and most likely due to the understaffing.
Apparently she said it has been happening a lot lately.

Hopefully since you've been around CG for so long. You did due diligence, and chose to patronize a FFL that knows, and follows Ca statute. Where in case the DOJ sits on their hands and fails to clear up the issue. They release on an "undetermined" status as they should.

Delays for some as yet unknown reason, delays are becoming quite common again.

As to the bolded. I'm sorry to say that there are CG members who are FFLs. That think it's OK to screw customers.

One would think that logic means that especially small shops. Rely on their regulars that are return customers. And as CG members, every aspect of gun laws are available to them.

Still some don't care what the laws are, as long as they can get away with screwing customers. That is the path they have chosen.

Good luck, hopefully DOJ gets off their collective duff and gets you squared away before the 30 day undetermined flip in status.

Did you try to DROS a new/used handgun & a new/used lower within the same 30 days? Or was one/both private party transfers?

They called and said it was delayed status on day 7 which means it will most likely be there until further notice. Passed 10 days.

Yes we double checked it when we submitted it originally. Also this is not the first time i bought from this shop. They are very detail oriented here in checking typos. Thank you brother! Will keep you guys updated.

Are you sure it didn’t violate the 1 in 30? You were scheduled to pick both up on Tuesday, were they perhaps DROSED at the same time? Were either the handgun or the receiver a PPT?

Yes 100% positive
Both are brand new and DROS at the same time
I have purchased a receiver and handgun on the same dros before
