    APEX trigger

What are the benefits of dropping a APEX trigger into a Glock 19 gen 3?
Will the upgrade tighten my groups ? Are there better alternatives?

Dry fire and seek training before using aftermarket triggers.

See if you need a new trigger after 3000 rounds

I used to think the glock trigger was holding me back but it is not. My lack of shooting and skills were.

For what it is worth running a 7 yard bill drill I can get .18 to .19 splits total time 2.2 to 2.56 seconds from aiwb.

Fastest ever was 2.05 but that had some misses in it =(

Bad habits can be cured with an Apex trigger. If you shoot properly with a straight back pull with a straight back follow through, the Apex trigger will not help. If you pull the trigger slowly with a sideways force or an inconsistent pull, the Apex trigger will improve your groups. A single action revolver or 1911 will essentially do the same thing. The short break and short follow through mask will mask poor shooting form.

But the bottom line is if it helps you shoot better, that's what matters.

After about 30-40,000 rounds, I installed an Apex FSS trigger into my M&P40 and it did improve my shooting. Several years later, I swapped back to the original trigger and found I now shoot as well without the Apex trigger as I did with it. Some people learn faster than others.

          True that!

Lasting improvement does not come from “gear upgrades,” etc. It comes from dedication and practice.

          Alternative? Stock trigger…

You don’t believe me - this is a 2.246” group at 25-yards with a stock Glock 21SF Gen 3. This is the first time I broke 3” - I can regularly group sub-5” at 25-yards with a stock trigger. Hell, one can hit a steel silhouette target at 150-yards with a stock trigger
