Kahr K9 vs Kahr K9 CA model

Kahr K9093N vs Kahr K9093NA (CA approved)

    I see no difference
    Both night sights
    Both no mag disconnect
    Both no LCI
Both DAO and hence no safety

    Makes no sense to me.
    Same gun..??

P.S. No info on Kahr Website

I've got a K9 I'm not aware of any differences. Mine doesn't have any weird safety items like LCI or Mag Disconnect etc. I check out the K9 section of the KahrTalk forum and have never heard of any special version.

I think the K9 is nice pistol. Never had much interest in the Kahr Polymer models. But the steel ones are really cool.

The models ending in A are CA approved
Yet they appear to be identical to the non A models

      Senseless.

Nothing about the roster makes sense.

But I'm not aware of any actual difference. In the California Model as opposed to the other states. I guess it's possible if there was a high polish model or something it might not be on the roster.

The difference is the model number stamped on the box. Thats it. Just like the S&W 686's, only the model with an "A" at the end of the model number are CA approved. The difference is probably a Prop 65 sticker or something dumb.
