Seems like I can't walk into a gun store without being tempted by something.
This time I was bored and trolling gun stores with no real intention of picking up another gun.
Let me preface this by mentioning that I tend to browse through various Gunbroker auctions to see what certain guns are selling for, just to kind of get a handle on the current gun market. Usually after adding the shipping, and FFL fee, many times what seems like a bargain, isn't really all that much of a good deal. In addition I like to support my local merchants if at all possible.
Welllllll, I was browsing the shelves of this store, not really looking for anything in particular but the price on this Glock G19X attracted my attention. Just for reference I already have four G17's and a G19 really I don’t really need another one, but I have never been the kind of guy to let need outweigh want.
Anyway, I had a gun that I never shoot (I only bought it to help out a friend that needed money) and was looking to sell. The store owner gave me what I wanted for it, so the total cost OTD was a $110. I'm happy with the deal and am going to take it out to the desert today along with a couple of other Glocks and run a couple hundred rounds through it. I'm pretty sure I'm going to like it.
