CZ Shadow 2 MODS: Improved Trigger break, Flat Trigger Reduction, and Short Reset

I didn't like the feel of my stock Shadow 2, I did some mods and now it is a sweet shooter.

What's a bullseye racegun? Those seem like two different types of pursuits. Bullseye, well self explanatory. Race gun, going as fast as you can, like USPSA Open. You doing both with the same gun?

Custom Bar-Sto barrel extended 1.37" past the slide muzzle. More bullseye championships have been won with Kart and Bar-Sto barrels than with any other brand. Very accurate.

Trigger, I tuned to be crisp at 3#. Good for both BE and steel plates.

I've added racegun aspects to it, the gas pedal, extra wide paddle safety and some brass grips for 10 oz of weight, to stay on target for faster sight acquisition. I'll keep it iron sight too. BE guns use different red dot and telescopic sights. Raceguns use red dots. Both use iron.

Lastly, I plan on trying out a clamp-on compensator aka. Clamp-ensator. Raceguns obviously use it, and some BE shooters use them.

All in all, this is a racegun with BE accuracy. Best of both worlds

OP, what comps do you shoot in your area? Just curious what's out there since all we got around here are IDPA and USPSA shoots.

I primarily do steel challenge. My club also has a league with events in scoped rifle, scoped pistol, iron sight rifle, and iron sight pistol. I'm working on my BE skills, I am better at speed shooting plates.

Nick, how does that CZ long slide fit on to the Shadow 2 frame? Have you tried to fit Tanfoglio slides on a CZ frame?
