What are the prices? Panic is over only if basic, very old CA guns carry basic, very low prices, and nobody wants to buy them.

It's my guess that all the people who wanted to get a new gun in their home or more guns for their collections before the end of the world / covit/ greatest depression/etc. hits,

Have already bought them by now.

There might be a slight uptick if people who weren't panicked by those other media hyped up Fake fear scares but recently do think we're running into a possibility of World War 3.

But even then I think all the people are smart enough to know it's better to have a gun and not need it then the other way around, have already bought what they thought they might need.

I think the continued claim of a COVID inspired shortage is just a tired copout.

Provide link/seller info, as could be for a lot of reasons like seller is new, has bad feedback, won't take credit cards, stock photos, or everything they are offering is new production and/or Roster only, and/or has high starting bid prices.

If the starting bid is near retail, people will only bid last minute.

Any combination of the above, people will just buy locally and not pay the 1% Buyer's fee Gunbroker is now tacking on - AND charging tax to purchaser's address AND taxing the shipping if seller has included that in the up-front costs declared.

I'm still seeing crazy high bids on Off-Roster, C&R, and rare items on CA sellers that take credit cards and start their bidding at a penny.

I did not take notes but it appeared Glocks, M&Ps, anything plastic, was minimum bid about the same as main street retailers charge.

I did go to my favorite local shop and scored a 625 Smith recently.
It was a back room special for personal friends, regular customers.
And I certainly paid suggested retail, and did not complain.
