Had thousands of rounds with these on a 1.0 in matches and practice runs. No real issues and work like stock with a better finish. Did not drop free 100% on my M&P till broken in. Like them so much I bought them for my P320s as well. Best bang for the money in after-market like Mec-Gars IMO.

I would not use any mag for defense without a good test. But yes, I would trust a good, tested ACT mag.

Nighthawk supplied them with their guns at one point if that tells you anything.

Some time back, when NHC was running a special on magazine purchases with the acquiring of a new NHC pistol, there was a coupon for ten magazines; I took advantage of that several times, and they were the ACT magazines. All have performed perfectly in every 1911 I’ve tried them in.
They even had Nighthawk logos on them, at least the ones I have. And they also still say ACT

679F3FF8-DEEF-422D-846D-6D64CB7C6AE6.jpgJust remembered that I had ordered some ACT-MAGs for a 9mm 1911, after having 100% good result. Package indicates that they were made in Italy, and imported by a company in Nevada. The blue finish is nicely done, and these have a stout base pad.
