Gen 3 Glock 17 conversion to .40

I have an extra Glock 17 sitting around and I think I would like to have a .40 cal again.

Where is the best place to look for a conversion for this thing? I'm guessing I'll need the upper half, ejector and some mags.

Good luck. Complete barreled slide is the way to go even if you were going from .40 to 9mm or similar.

Just load the mag with .40 and start firing, eventually it will stretch the parts out so it is .40 caliber

Right? I just picked up a Gen 5 G45 yesterday for $514 OTD. G22 would be the same price.

I got an idea. You send me your 22 and I'll send you my 17 and you can duel wield the 17's.

Yep, those are “bend over” prices. The second link doesn’t provide lube. Whatever the market will bear I suppose

OP, you can sell your G17 and buy a G22 (which sell cheaper) and get a conversion barrel.
