    The writer sounds like he has some issues with weapons.

    Besides, doesn't he know that switchblades are very highly regulated?

      So are AOWs which that falls under. That has to be one of the dumbest inventions I've ever seen, atleast the old sword/knife/axe - flintlock weapons had some style and used the blade as a back up of the one shot.

          Cheaper alternative

          I think I would rather have 2 separate items - a plain knife and a small .22 revolver. I don't see the benefit of combining them into one expensive unit which will attract excessive regulatory attention.

            I've looked at these in many museums, and often they are explained as rich people's novelties, and not practical in combat.

            I like the comment under it, combine it into a cell phone.
