    Question,

How does that effect CCW since the slide and barrel will no longer have the same serial number?

It comes ready for an RMR-footprint optic to be mounted to the slide. The only way to get an OEM Gen 3 Glock slide to accept an RMR requires it to be milled. This saves you having to send the slide off for work, and also is a complete slide sans barrel and recoil spring. For example, the Brownell's slide is also optic ready but is stripped and you have to install all the parts. Glock MOS (optic ready from the factory, which suck but a conversation for another time) models are not on the roster.

There are no factory Gen 3 MOS slides. If you want to use a factory slide and have a low mount optic, then the slide needs to be machined.

After market stripped slides range in price from a couple hundred bucks to a grand or more.

          +
          suppressor sights from $50-100+

The PSA slide allows somebody with a gen3 to get in the game for cheap. It's built to a low price point.

Personally, for a fun gun I think it's fine. For a serious gun I'd want something more, at the very least I'd replace the slide parts with Glock factory parts. ( flamewar begins! )

The serial numbers on slides and barrels don't mean squat in the USA. They are put there for other countrys that do things different. In the USA, the frame serial number is the one we use.

                OK, thanks for the clarification!

Sheeit, I might have to consider getting a whole Dagger with those sights, even though I pretty much hate Glocks. I hear the grip angle is better than a glock though.

The slide probably doesn't have a serial number.

It will still count as the correct serial number. The concern is whether or not switching out the slide is an allowed change according to your CCW issuing agency.

Good question to have answered before I buy! I'll look into this, thanks.

Ahhh, I see! Your post, and then a few after, now I get it. That's why people take their slides to get milled. Huh, interesting! That certainly does seem like a great deal and you can keep the glock slide original.

To a discerning individual, only Glock Perfection (tm) will do.

Just ordered one to basically use as a “range toy” to try out a red dot . No problem placing the order to Cali. Will repost if there is an any issue receiving it.
