    Mac 11 question

Ok, I am in the process of moving, and I was digging through my magazine bin. I found a half dozen or so 30 round 9mm Cobray magazines that I picked up before the first AWB in 94. What can I say, I went a bit nuts and grabbed mags for everything under the sun, whether I had one or not back then. But I am now trying to figure out what to do with these mags. So here is my question. Is there any reason I can't just buy all the parts and weld/build a Mac 11 out of a kit, and use these mags with it? I don't really need one, but it offends me that I have the mags and no gun to use them in. What do you guys think?

As long as your barrel isn't threaded, perfectly legal.
    Please read the Calguns Wiki
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes...Such laws make things worse for the assaulted and better for the assailants; they serve rather to encourage than to prevent homicides, for an unarmed man may be attacked with greater confidence than an armed man.

      Yep, it can be done

Its so easy you can actually put one together with masking tape and it will fire... (its not exactly safe, but it will go bang)

Thanks.... I need to go bump that old thread... That was the first publicly declared home built pistol in California... (jumbopanda was the first to post pictures though of his AK (damn him and his nifty home parkerizing setup)

I held off on pics because mine wasn't pretty yet.... it still isn't prety... but it works... puts holes in stuff, kicks puppies, strangles babies, and gets a lot of nasty looks from the 'I don't need no asssalllut wepans fur mah dear huntin' crowd... so it serves its purpous.

This was done back in JPglee1's shop in 2006 (April 1st IIRC, three days before I got married)... I miss that guy..

Who is he and what happened? The way Ajax22 phrased it, it sounded like he had snuffed it. What gives?

There was a thread about it, I couldn't find it. I would hate to spread or say something bad but if I remember right the most recent thread about him said that he ended pleading guilty for a reduced sentence (felony still), got divorced, and got arrested again for selling weed.
