I have a question regarding concealed carry in your own bussiness. Is it legal to be carrying conceally or open carry in your own private business? I hear these stories where security guards get arrested for carrying a hidden firearm.

I know it is legal if it is YOUR place of business, but I don't know how it applies to employees.
That's from the old (2000) laws, but it should be the same.No license or permit shall be required to possess keep, or carry a handgun openly or concealed in one`s home or place of business. -

Two flies in the ointment. First, "one's place of business" obviously apply to owners, less obvious how it applies to employees. Clearly, they need permission from the "boss". For example, most major employers have strict rules prohibiting carrying guns in the workplace, and these rules are communicated to the employees. If a random employee in a random company carries a gun to work in violation of those workplace rules, and is caught, and turned over to police, he'd be in a world of legal hurt. I just can't figure out exactly why. Probably it would be treated like carrying in public (after all, the exception for carrying at home or in the workplace wouldn't apply here, since permission was missing).
Second fly in the ointment that I remember from some discussion: yes, you can carry in the workplace. But the definition of workplace is a little tricky too. It is not simply defined as the extent of the parcel the business sits on. For example, if a business has a parking lot that is easily accessible and visible from a public road (the legal term for public road is highway), then it seems that the parking lot is considered partially a public area. Carrying open in this partially public area seems to not be covered under the exception for carrying in once place of business. A similar situation applies to a private residence, if part of the land is a road easement used by other people or even by the public; that easement is a partially public area, and one can't carry there either.
Clarification of these borderline cases from someone who knows the details would be most welcome.Comment
