Laugo Alien Pistol - Any issues with 10 rd mags?

For those fortunate owners of the Laugo Alien Pistol, any issues with the 10 rd mags? I read a post on the Brian Enos forum that said issues chambering a round with a fully loaded mag because the spring is too strong. Also, is the base plate removable?

    Thanks

I don't claim to be an expert on handguns. But I've never heard of those at all. Can you tell a little more about what they are?

Dude.... you should. No pimp worth his salt is without one.

If some level of government had that information, what would they do with it? How would having that info benefit public safety? How would it benefit law enforcement?

Expensive competition gun. It looks like a CZ but has an inverted P7 barrel/gas retard system. Super low bore axis with the fixed barrel and the gas mechanism on top of the barrel.

Laugo alien is the most innovative pistol design in 100 years. It has an upside down hammer and incredibly low bore axis. Very overpriced but very cool.

If it weren't for the Roster, I would have one already. I had bid on one recently that did come up in auction in CA available by PPT, but stopped at $8K - anything above that would have just been nonsense.

It eventually sold in the $13K range if I recall.

I got a kick out of this though:

            And then....

            .

"Over priced" is in the eye of the beholder

Tough to say they are overpriced when regular Staccato's (nothing special about the design) are $4,000 to $7,000 in the marketplace.

I purchased an Alien and got a 10 rounder for it but never fired the ten round mag before selling. I can tell you loading that 10th round isn't too hard and don't think it would be too stiff. Base plates don't show anyplace where they can come off...maybe heated it can come apart as the base plate is plastic but I don't feel like messing up a 90.00 mag to find out.

BP your pimp hand is weak.
The only feeding problem I have experienced is that I can afford the mags just not the rest of the pistol.

Thanks for your input. I recently learned the base plates are removable by unscrewing the allen head screws
