I have not found any type of ammo that doesn't work well in the Shield. I tend to stick to 115 grain JHP for EDC (Winchester white box) but reload to the same ballistics for practice.

Well my favorite ammo through nearly any 9mm is Tulammo… because it’s so cheap!
But for serious work, mine is loaded with Federal 9BP - just the cheap standard pressure old school 115 HP.
