Ned builds some very cool guns, and this one is fantastic. I've never been a fan of GCs (in any barrel length) myself, mainly because of the adjustable rear sights. But I'd be tickled to own (or just to handle!) this one. Great write-up OP and I can't wait to see the others.

In regard to the long read, there's nothing wrong with that at all.

What I might suggest is break up the text and arrange the write up more like captions with the associated pictures it pertains to. Yea, bit of editing is involved, but not all that much.

              Nice looking piece.
My old Gold Cup bought new in 1978 does not hold a candle to yours but I shoot it often and still enjoy it.
It has a Bar-Sto match barrel and a real Bomar sight, that's how old the work is, done in 1979 for the most part. A now gone gunsmith named Jim Boland did much of the initial work, I picked up a few rudimentary skills along the way and added the safety, slide release, grip safety and hammer.

Wow! Just looking at that piece screams lots of meticulous work, and it’s very artistic. Beautiful piece indeed.
