What is your favorite pistol or revolver acquisition of 2021?

H&K USP full size in .40 S&W.

Finally decided to invest in a .40 S&W pistol now that ammo's consistently on the shelf and its less pricy than 9mm or .45. May as well go big and get one of the first pistols designed for the .40 S&W, and it doesn't disappoint.

I don't think it'll ever replace my P226 as my favorite, but it's giving it a consistent run for it's money.

2021 was the best since I got most off my bucket list, among them are
CZ SP01 Tactical 9mm
CZ 97 BD
CZ 2075 Rami BD 9mm
The most recent acquisition is a
Tanfoglio Witness Hunter 10mm plus two more slides & barrels on 9mm & 38 Super

For me, it was this little S&W 30-1 C&R snubbie in .32 S&W Long. A nicely preserved 1960's 6-shot specimen. Loaded with Buffalo Bore Hardcast or Wadcutter ammo...it makes a fine little day hike or dog walking companion. While heavier than an Airlite or LCP; I find it makes for an easy IWB/OWB carry for the tasks above.

My wife has one of these she bought decades ago at a gun show. Her first handgun and still one of her favorites. Hard to find ammo at decent prices which doesn't bother us since I reload. Components readily available. She loves this gun (and I can see why).

I'd say S&W 442 for me. Not a great-looking or collectible gun, but I keep going back to it for carry with the light weight, simplicity and how easy it is to conceal.

The 442 is my favorite carry gun by far as well, light, compact, easy to handle.

I wanted a used Colt SAA so I could shoot it and not take a NIB one and turn it into a used gun. Gunbroker came thru from a nice fellow in Michigan who was able to get this here for me. 45 LC and 45 ACP blued ,case hardened and over all for a used gun,downright beautiful. Has original box and all.

Great revolver. I was looking for the same thing for all the 45 ACP ammunition I have. Nice find and thank you for sharing.

In addition to the more modern altered cowboy guns like the Colt SAA Prewar model P, and the 'early model' with screw release and bullseye ejector, there is the 'early early model' from the Ainsworth era from about 1873 to 1877 (up to SN 14998).

Of course mine is an Uberti clone so doesn't cost a fortune, about the same as a Glock, and is in stock in most Sportsman Warehouse stores.
