Basic handgun training around Carlsbad

Hi everyone. My family is coming to visit and we are going to stay around Carlsbad. I am the only shooter. I thought it might be fun for them to take a handgun one private class. Does anyone have recommendations for an outdoor class somewhere around Carlsbad? We could probably drive maybe a half hour radius from there? Thank you in advance!

Escondido fish and game as well as rainbow range offer classes.

I took a couple of refresher classes at IronSights in Oceanside a few years ago, but as mentioned it is indoor. I think it was through BlackDog Tactical at the time.

Low key but covered the basics. Have no idea who has the class now.

(note: I was the only person so had plenty of range time both times).

Used to train with them up until I moved out of state. Really great guys. Only potential "downside" is their basic classes aren't live fire; it's a really futuristic simulator system called VirTra which uses real guns retrofitted with CO2 mags and laser designators.
