Off Roster Shipping

Quick question for the community. I'm in northern CA and traveling to South CA for the holiday. Going to meet with a seller and do a PPT at his FFL. I'm trying to avoid another trip up after the gun is drosed and the 10 days is up. Once it's in my name, can the FFL ship it to my FFL in northern CA?

From my understanding, no. They’d need your signature and fingerprint to close out the DROS.

No shipping, none. You must make another trip. It is not 'in your name' until it is marked delivered in DES, and that does not happen until you make an appearance to pick it up and sign for it.
