    Those Thai 1911 grips

Have you see these? Look pretty slick. I have a number of combat grips from the same seller for my S&W's, they always fit like a glove. Curious to what these would look like on a stainless 1911. Anyone have pics?

Are these from an Amazon seller? I love wood grips and was looking for some for my Taurus and came across a seller on Amazon making them. I think he ships from Thailand.

They look like pretty poor quality with lots of visible flaws.

If they're cheap enough, it isn't much of a gamble.

Please report back if you buy them...

Flaws, what flaws? It's wood. I think they would look interesting.

If you see no flaws, then these would be perfect for you.

I still think that you would feel the poorly finished surfaces and irregularities...

I saw these which look to be the same or pretty similar grips on a Stainless 1911:

I bought a similar set. The only issue I had was interference from the right side safety/slide lock lever hitting the wood grip tops. I had to file/sand down the wood grip. Not a big deal but they may not be a plug and play. Minor fitting may be needed depending on the 1911

                        Agreed.

Also, IMHO, they just look wrong on a 1911.
