I always wondered about the specifics and knew a few but this article has a good breakdown.

It's a good generalized article written by a non-CA resident to sell their book about the different gun laws of each state.
It is not a good article that accurately relates what it required by CA laws.
^Loaded chamber indicator (not required by CA laws) v chamber load indicator (required by CA laws) and microstamping that is required by CA laws (the pictures utilized in the article to show how microstamping works does not meet CA's requirements).
Article also does not inform on how CA's unsafe handgun legislation became CA laws ("pro-gun" groups selling their support for exemptions to the proposed legislation) {This could have been inserted in the "Government Exemptions of Course" section} and does not notate how CA & Federal Courts have already ruled that those CA laws are legal {This could have been inserted in the "They Aren't Finished" section}.Last edited by Quiet; 11-10-2021, 8:03 AM.sigpic

And, the magazine discussion is not relevant to the Roster.
See also the wiki, http://wiki.calgunsfoundation.org/in...e_Handgun_List That's missing the little twitch at 31910(b)(7)(7) The Department of Justice shall, for each semiautomatic pistol newly added to the roster pursuant to Section 32015, remove from the roster exactly three semiautomatic pistols lacking one or more of the applicable features described in paragraphs (4), (5), and (6) of subdivision (b) and added to the roster before July 1, 2022. Notwithstanding those paragraphs, each semiautomatic pistol removed from the roster pursuant to this subdivision shall be considered an unsafe handgun. The Attorney General shall remove semiautomatic pistols from the roster pursuant to this subdivision in reverse order of their dates of addition to the roster, beginning with the semiautomatic pistol added to the roster on the earliest date and continuing until each semiautomatic pistol on the roster includes each of the applicable features described in those paragraphs.ARCHIVED Calguns Foundation Wiki here: http://web.archive.org/web/201908310...itle=Main_Page
Frozen in 2015, it is falling out of date and I can no longer edit the content. But much of it is still good!Comment
