Will a full size FN509 Tactical slide fit on a FN509 compact frame and vice versa?

Best asked on FNforum.net. I doubt a lot of people here will have those two to try swapping slides (because of the roster)

Honestly, I think the sizes are too different. Besides, the tactical isn't even legal to possess in CA due to the threaded barrel. They do make a midsize version, but good luck finding one unless you're roster exempt.
