    Masterpiece legality?

    MASTERPIECE MPA10 .45ACP

    This weapon legal in cali? If i were to purchase new out of state. obviously with out a hi-cap mag. thanks in advance

    in stock configuration, NO. It is an AW due to the threaded barrel and detachable magazine. Plus, the Roster applies as well.

    edit: Check with PRKarms, they may have a CA-legal Roster-exempt version of it available.

      ok no threads and some sort of mag lock? what does "roster" refer to? a ban list?

        The "roster" refers to the "roster of not unsafe handguns" that have been tested to be not unsafe, and allowable for purchase/transfer through a dealer.

          If the mag fits into the "grip" you don't need a mag lock if you have NO evil features.

          MPA MAC-10 clones are legal if there are no threads on the barrel, OR something kosher is permanently fixed over the threads (like a muzzle brake). They do not need a mag lock.
