Newest Addition- Ruger LCR

Purchased the new Ruger LCR today... will pick up in 10 days. Seems like a cool little revolver and the trigger is very nice. Should be a good carry revolver for me or the lady.

Anyone have experience with .38 +p ammunition? I am a 357 magnum fan myself so I am looking for something loaded hot in the .38 special flavor. I was looking at the double tap 125 grain +p JHP. Seems to be one of the best options (second to Hornady 110 grain +p critical defense) with claimed muzzule velocity of 1175 FPS and 383 ft. lbs muzzle energy. Any other suggestions?

Buffalo Bore's 158+P is THE king of the hill. Matches many 9mm loads from a service size gun in raw power, when fired from a snubby.

BB's version of the Gold Dot 125gr load is slightly hotter than Doubletap. And while edgy as hell, Buffalo Bore's loads have not been blowing guns up.

Not a LEO... The gun is now on the list. I paid $499 for mine in San Diego. I probably could have found a better deal but only one shop I called had one in stock and I wanted it ASAP. I'll snap and upload some pictures once the wait period is up on July 2nd.
