    springfield lightweight operator

Does anyone know if this particular model has already een submitted for approval (PX9116L)? I don't see it in the roster, but was wondering if anyone else wanted to get one and was anxious to see if they had sumitted it for approval. I asked springfield but the operator was not sure. I called the DOJ and they told me to ask the manufacturer.

You better hope it makes the approved list before 01January.

It doesn't sound like either of those posts are really sure what they are talking about, though. Springfield went and got their brand new MXP 9mm 1911 certified, and I'd be surprised if they weren't trying to get as many models certified as they could before 2007.

But then, I don't know what they're doing, either.

zefflyn, My inquirey to Springfield was specifically asking about the Lightweight Operator. The information I conveyed in another thread and that is referenced in this thread was obtained directly from Springfield in the form of an email and my follow up phone conversation with them. As they must have mislead me, or perhaps I can't understand english, I will apologize for not knowing what I am talking about.
