HK P2000 - trigger hook

Anyone ever reduce the hook on an HK trigger?

I don't want to replace the trigger, but I do wish the space was a little bigger. Was wondering if anyone has experience with cut off maybe .25" off the tip of the hook.

Sounds strange I know, but I'm assuming someone has done it.
