    Officer 1911 options?

    What's a decent buy?

Trying to find one I can compare against a G26 and MP Shield.

    1.5K price limit.

I recently sold off my Commander 1911, but now I kinda want another compact 1911, and felt an officer size is probably best to replace it.

I have an STI ranger 2 and a SA EMP. Both are very nice. I prefer the Ranger . Was about 1200

If you can find a Kimber Eclipse Ultra II / Stainless Steel, 3" barrel .45ACP CA DOJ roster expiration 01/01/22. The Springfield EMP has aluminum frame so it would be lighter, but the roster approved model is in 9mm. The frame is smaller than 1911s, a plus for smaller hands or short fingers.
