yes. locking block with mag disco is the only difference.

Here's the kit from MGW that says the mag safety changed in 2018. This kit does include a trigger (older one does not). Don't know if it's different than the non safety.

That is very different from the old magazine disconnect. Hopefully, it s less failure prone than the old system.

All the posts and vids I saw show removal of the older style. Some just removed the pin, spring and the little lever. Others swapped out the whole block. Don't know if removal of the new style is enough.
