    Nice!

Yup - got nearly the same Super Blackhawk you have - stainless, unfluted (woohoo!), 4-5/8". However, mine doesn't have the 'dragoon' squared triggerguard/gripframe.

[I do notice some funky gold trim/engraving - is this a special model or exotic conversion? Or just a personal touch?]

As soon as Brownell's has stainless Bisley gripframes in stock again, my SBH is gonna become a 'Bishawk' with the help of the excellent John Mathews at San Jose's Almaden Gun Exhange. It's also gonna get a 'crusty' bead-blasted finish, gonna ensure the cylinder holes bores are equally-sized openings, and that there's no endshake.

For my (and several CAS buddies) hands, Bisley grips are the best esp when shooting heavy loads.

Sure I do, let's start with the basic
New Model Blackhawk .357 Mag 4 5/8" and I also have a 9mm cylinder for it; so 3 rounds out of one handgun

And then a New Model Army in .44 Blackpowder. This is an Italian replica that I got about 15 years ago from Sportsman's guide for ~$70

Next I have a United States Arms/AIG/Mossberg Abilene in .44 Mag with a 7.5" barrel and unfluted cylinder.

And my latest pickup a United Sporting Arms Seville in .45 (Long) Colt with a 4 5/8" barrel assembeld in Tombstone Arizona. Again unfluted. This picture is really off, almost makes it look stainless, but it's a really dark, almost black bluing. This shot does show the grip well, though.

Sorry my pictures aren't the best - looks like I need to take lessons from Lunde.

My personal favorite, Rugers 10 1/2" Super Blackhawk. Accurate as a short barreled rifle.
