Y'all remember Equilibrium with Christian Bale? Futuristic movie with Grammaton Clerics. They practiced GunKata which was a form of martial arts with guns. They had an integrated "blade" at the end of their firearms.

I don't think that was intended to be used as a blade. It looked to function more like a muzzle brake, if anything. It was never used to stab, though the baseplates of the magazines were used for smashing skulls.Comment
