    S&W 1911Sc reports?

    Hi...

Anyone out there w/one of those new S&W 1911Sc guns?

(These are Smith & Wesson's lightweight Scandium alloy Commander-size 1911s.)

Heard they were pretty tight/accurate. Held one, dry-fired, felt great.

Second opinions from RKIs welcome... tempted

I've got one, haven't had a chance to shoot it as much as I'd like, but I'm very impressed by it, fit finish and tolerences are excellent.

I liked the first so much, I've got two others backlogged, a SW1911PD and a SW1911 S.S. with Adj sights, waiting for their places in my 30 day DROS windows...........

Yes, although it's not completely broken in yet, so far only have a couple hundred rounds thru it. No failures to feed, and groups have been better then expected from a out of the box commander, of course it does kick a wee bit more, but no more then any other "alloy" frame commander sized 1911.
