I was thinking of trying out a Briley with the spherical insert in the bushing, although I still have a stash of the S&W chrome lined match barrels that they made for the military.........hmm

The story I got was that they were a special contract run the military had S&W make for them to use in rebuilding some 1911's for match use, slightly oversize but the best part of them was that they were chrome lined, I was able to locate some from a S&W production over-run. I've already used a few of them and they are amazingly accurate, and of course very easy to clean......

BTW they are easily identifiable by the markings on them(but those escape me at them moment) I'll have to dig one out.

I actually have another that is so far unmolested just no box, but there is a skipper top end sitting right next to it begging to be installed on it.

Heh then there are all the other's that I took off everything and just used the frames
